Residents made to drag wheelie bins a mile to be collected

Pensioners are being made to drag their wheelie bins for up to a mile because the council will not collect rubbish from their rural streets.

Dozens of complaints have been made to Copeland Council, Cumbria. One 82-year-old said he had to push his bin for a mile each week so it could be emptied.
